SICILIAN FOREST

Baroque style shirt and T-shirts: WWW.DANDYINNE.COM

With the arrival of the footsteps of the hot, dry summer, it's another fab time for those outrageous ones to wear treasures of prints. No matter meeting unexpected sections of anaglyph fantasies in Baroque period, or sensing the liberated gospel of the neoclassical art. Even if the whispers wandering across the pillows and tracing back to Sicily will make you re-experience the real means of prints.

Recently, I'm in collaboration with one of China menswear leaders DANDYINNE ( WWW.DANDYINNE.COM ) to select my favs from their spring/summer 2013 collection and get them re-styled. This collection, as you may have caught some evidence above, is inspired by the Italian drama film "Malèna" which begins in Sicily. In the film, Renato is deeply obsessed with Malena and starts fantasizing about her. From his Sicilian white shirt and his bluer back shadow, we can dimly touch the heartbeats of the flipping times. Though time flies, chances are, we can still recall the sentimental years when dressing in these garments.

VALENtie ~ Bonne Saint-Valentin~

plaid three-piece suit: www.dandyinne.com
Slim Fit White Shirt: FANNY MOCHA
"Time for Lunch" clutch: MICHELLY MO
baroque print tie: LANVIN Vintage
tassels brogues: www.fabrixquare.com

Romantic flounce, large scale of red, classy illustrations, and elegant waves, these are my first impression on LANVIN by Alber Elbaz. Not to mention what Alber once said that he created those extremely romantic garments to make women look more charming and alluring, just take a glance of the perfume names from the house: "Marry Me!","RUMEUR","Jeanne La Rose"......we can somehow sense the connection between LANVIN and Valentine's Day.

Thus, for Valentine's day, I decide to dress in a very LANVIN way (although just dress up alone for myself, so poor....anyway...)From my own perspectives, a LANVIN man is passionate, rigorous, circumspective but still a little bit frivolous. He will definitely chooses a classic two-buttoned check suit with only one button buckled-up. He loves those refreshing but timeless prints, so the tie, the pocket square must be carefully considered before being put into use.

ITEMS ON THE LIST
LANVIN bow ties, tie pins from the menswear collection

"
And as long as I've got my suit and tie/

I'mma leave it all on the floor tonight/

And you got fixed up to the nines/

Let me show you a few things /

All pressed up in black and white/
And you're dressed in that dress I like/
Love is swinging in the air tonight/
Let me show you a few things....."

Just dress up tonight, swinging and dancing to the beat of "SUIT and TIE" by Justin Timberlake. No matter you are single or not, stay chic——and have fun~

Outfits:INEVITABLE PAST ~2012 looks collection~

"It was inevitable..." Brad Pitt's words toward CHANEL No.5 maybe the best description of my past 2012. It is 2012 that I comes to the awareness of my strong affection toward fashion which has been constantly bringing revolutionary changes and inspirations to me. It's the first year I started capture my little fashion journey via Lookbook.nu, Voguemate.com, and my blog using my Canon EOS 60D with SIGMA 50mm F1.4 lens.From the first shot til now, it can be a long or a extremely short time, but it is exactly an irreplaceable once-in-a-lifetime treasure to me, with which I will be holding for good.

As most of us agree that fashion is about making mistakes and keeping moving forward, my standpoints and pursuits of fashion has been varying as well as upgrading during the process of the so-called "fashion correction".To be continued, I don't even catch the sense of shame or tragedy when it comes to the realization of those "mistakes", for in order to make the right choices, one has to spare no efforts to make attempts and push his boundaries. No matter fabrics, textures, patterns, prints, silhouettes, colors,or proportions, the wise decision of a look largely relies on your diversity and innovation of editing, which requires those "mistaken moments" to some extent. Learning from those beautiful "mistakes", everyone is his own fashion guide.

Looking back at all my looks in 2012, it's apparent that my style of editing is varying within a wide range among Harajuku, More-is-more, color-splashing, or somewhat dramatic which has gradually become increasingly appropriately-layering and wearable. Moreover, I've been regarding my "mistaken moments" the most effective push power to turning my style from "literal words" to a more sophisticated "innermost expression".

I'd love to show my gratitude to all the ones that have always been staying by my side and providing me with critical suggestions.

For the year 2013, I'm willing to add more grunge or hermaphroditism elements to my looks by trying new sorts of fabrics and developing the ways of layering.I know it's just a tiny brand new beginning of me and I think I've been ready to take on the upcoming challenges.

Street Style: CHINESE WEAR WHAT: street style in SanLiTun Village, Beijing - Vol. 01

With the rapid development of China industry, the fashion world is gradually turning its attention to the newly born eastern fashion power-- China. As a raw hand fashion blogger in China, I take my spare time to snap what Chinese people wear on the streets. In comparison with the high fashion or hyperbolic fashion mind most foreign fashionistas prefer, Chinese fashion guys nowadays admire the style of simple chic outfits with intriguing details. Here are some of the street style snaps i captured on the street in SanLitun Village, Beijing, China.
